Dakkada Skills Acquisition Centre (DASAC), the Akwa Ibom State-owned ultra-modern, needs-driven technical skills training Institution located at Km 8, Uyo-Ikot Ekpene Road, Ikot Ada Idem, Ibiono Ibom Local Government Area, Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria, requires the services of resourceful and experienced professionals to fill the following vacant positions:
1) CIVIL BUILDING TECHNOLOGY
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
a. A minimum of 3 years of practical experience in building construction works.
b. Knowledge of local, national, and international building codes, regulations, and standards,
c. Possess excellent communication, interpersonal and networking skills,
d. Deep knowledge of production of floor ceramic tiles,
e. Interior designer with deep knowledge of tiling, Plaster of Paris (POP) and painting,
f. Deep knowledge of aluminium production and installation, architectural and structural designs, iron bending and masonry,
g. Be a registered member with a professional body in Civil Building Technology.
2) ELECTRICAL/ELECTRONIC TECHNOLOGY
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
a. A minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical and electronics industry, preferably in technical or supervisory role.
b. Deep knowledge of Solar power system (production and installation), CCTV installation, and industrial/domestic electrical drawing and design,
c. A Certified Electronics Technician who demonstrates expertise in electrical systems and safety protocols, with indepth knowledge of electronics principles and circuits,
d. Should possess excellent communication, interpersonal and networking skills.
e. Be a registered member with a professional body in Electrical/Electronic Technology
3) AUTOMOBILE TECHNOLOGY
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
a. Skilled Automotive professionals with a minimum of 3 years of practical experience in automotive system technician and trainer,
b. Showcase advanced knowledge of automotive systems repairs techniques,
c. Familiar with specific vehicle makes and models, as well as industry-standard tools and equipment,
d. Possess excellent communication, interpersonal and networking skills.
e. Expertise in conversion of vehicles from regular engine to Compress Natural Gas (CNG)
f. Be a registered member with a professional body in Automobile Technology.
4) INDUSTRIAL SAFETY
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
a. Minimum 3 years of practical experience in industrial Safety, occupational health or a related field,
b. In-depth knowledge of OSHA regulations, industry standards, and best practices,
c. Familiar with specific industry hazards, regulations and best practices,
d. Prior experience in training in an industrial setting.
e. Be a registered member with a professional body in Industrial Safety.
5) PHOTOGRAPHY
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
a. Possess a minimum of 3 years of practical experience.
b. A strong portfolio showcasing your photography skills, also comprising your professional videos and audios coverage and editing,
c. In-depth understanding of camera settings, lighting, composition, and editing software.
d. Knowledge of different photography genres, such as portrait landscape, street, or wildlife photography
e. Be a registered member with a professional body in Photography
