In a bold step toward stronger collaboration, the Apex Chapel of the Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ), Akwa Ibom State Council, led by the Chairman, Comrade Udemeabasi Udofa, visited the Dakkada Skills Acquisition Centre (DASAC) to explore opportunities for partnership and a shared purpose.

The NUJ team didn’t just come calling—they came with a mission: to connect, collaborate, and communicate impact. Recognizing DASAC as a beacon of transformation, the journalists pledged to serve as storytellers of its progress, ensuring that the center’s milestones and achievements echo far beyond its walls.
“We will disseminate true information to the public to prevent destroying the reputation of the institution” the chairman of the team declared, emphasizing the media’s role in shaping public perception and celebrating institutions that drive change.
Acknowledging DASAC’s budding legacy, the council commended its strides so far describing it as “where hands-on training meets hands-on success”. They pledged to amplify its achievements and deepen public understanding of DASAC’s mission.

The NUJ expressed sincere appreciation to the Akwa Ibom State Governor, His Excellency, Pastor Umo Eno (Ph.D.) for birthing such a visionary institution. They described DASAC as a future solution to food scarcity and hike in the price of food stuff. The chairman further went on to describe DASAC as a testament to the institution’s impact and potential.
