Mr. Aniediabasi Daniel Udofia is a seasoned administrator and prior to his appointment as Registrar, Dakkada Skills Acquisition Centre (DASAC), he was registrar in the University of Uyo, Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta and Abia State University (ABSU).Â
He began his public service career in the University of Uyo where he worked in various capacities and designations such as: Administrative Officer II, Faculty of Science, 1993-1997; Administrative Officer I, Directorate of General Administration, 1997-2001; Assistant Registrar, Publications Unit, 2000 – 2001; Assistant Registrar and Head, Liaison Office, Lagos, 2001-2003; Senior Assistant Registrar, Publications Unit, 2003 – 2004; Principal Assistant Registrar and Head, Academic Staff Establishment Unit (Directorate of Personnel Affairs), 2009 – 2010.
In a bid to widen his scope and job experience, Mr. Udofia moved to the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta in 2010 where he served as: Deputy Registrar, Vice-Chancellor’s Office, 2010 – 2012; Deputy Registrar, Senate and Admissions Unit, 2012 – 2016; Deputy Registrar and Secretary, Postgraduate School, 2016.
He holds two Masters Degrees in M.Sc. (Ed.) Educational Technology and M.Sc. International Relations in the years 2000 and 2002 respectively, both obtained from the University of Uyo. His first degree was B.Sc. (Ed.) (Hons) in Political Science in 1991.
Mr. Aniediabasi Udofia has attended various seminars, conferences and workshop since his debut in the public service which includes a Seminar on Management of Higher Education Institutions, June 28 to July 9, 2012 which took place in Israel; a Training Programme on the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), 2015 in Lagos, and a course on Advanced Digital Appreciation Programme for Tertiary Institutions (ADAPTI) February 29 to March 4, 2016, in Abeokuta.
Mr. Udofia is a Fellow, Chartered Institute of Public Management of Nigeria (FCIPN); Member, Nigerian Institute of Management (MNIM), and Member, Association of University Administrators (MAUA).
He has also served in various panels and committees as Secretary and member, a few of which are: Sixth UNIUYO Convocation Planning Committee, 2004 (Secretary); Staff School Management Board, 2005 -2010 (Secretary), and many others.
