Dr. (Mrs.) Offiong Offor is the Honorable Commissioner of Agriculture and Rural Development in Akwa Ibom State.
Prior to her appointment to serve in the State Executive Council, she was a lecturer in the Akwa Ibom State University. The academician also managed consultancy services for United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and other private institutions in Agricultural projects.
She holds a Ph.D. in Agricultural Economics from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. Her Master’s degree was from the Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike, while she got her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Calabar, Cross River State.
